If it is not replaced in time, it will increase the wear and tear of the diesel engine, affecting its service life, so it is necessary to increase the frequency of replacing the air filter element compared to other seasons in winter.

When replacing the engine oil of a diesel generator set in winter, it should be chosen to have a thinner viscosity oil.

During the startup of a diesel generator set in winter, the temperature of the air intake in the cylinder is relatively low, and it is difficult to reach the combustion point of diesel after the gas is compressed by the piston.So before starting the power generation unit, appropriate auxiliary measures should be taken to increase the temperature of the diesel engine body, such as installing a water jacket heater.
