The exhaust port of the power generation unit has accumulated carbon in black and gray, the surface looks like it is covered with a layer of white frost, the carbon layer is not thick but thin, indicating that the diesel engine of the unit is working well.The carbon color is black and bright without being wet, indicating that the generator set is slightly burning oil.The carbon deposits at the exhaust port of a certain cylinder are thick, indicating that the injector of the cylinder is not working properly or the cylinder sealing is poor, and it should be repaired or replaced.

Individual exhaust ports are moist or have oil streaks, indicating that the cylinder is burning oil and should be checked and repaired.There are many reasons why engine oil may burn, such as severe wear of the piston rings, severe wear of the cylinders, severe wear of the valve guide or failure of the guide seal, failure of the turbocharger seal device, failure of the crankcase ventilation pipeline one-way valve, and other reasons may cause engine oil to enter the combustion chamber.Each cylinder exhaust port carbon deposit is thick and the color is deep, mostly due to the low working temperature or late fuel injection, resulting in severe afterburning.

Our mobile power generation unit produces combustion during the process, and when the combustion is incomplete, substances such as oil sludge and carbon accumulation will adhere to the exhaust pipe wall.
